Poster Trade Buildings

€6.00

The Trade buildings constitute a classic of contemporary Barcelona architecture and maintain its modernity. A group formed by four towers, three of them interconnected, designed by the architects José Antonio Coderch and Manuel Valls and built between 1966 and 1969 in the Avinguda Diagonal, a walkway of the avant-garde architecture.

A stunning glass curtain wall plays with light, natural and artificial, and shapes rounded with a garden area of internal movement created a particular space, and at the same time, open while, giving a rationalist coherence to the whole.

The poster was published at the same time that the BCN Designer Route, a guide who makes a tour of the places related with design chosen by 100 professionals from different fields of creation, made for the Design Year, on FAD’s Centenary.
